"Everything is difficult but everything is possible" - Zhao Daxing

Argh ! Now that I’m doing my first article I regret to not have done one before, cause there is sooooo many things to say about our stay here in Beijing !

So, to begin, I’m Capucine, from Pau, a town located in the south west part of France. I’m working for Zigen, a Cango’s partner association which is dealing with migrant workers and rural development. My job here is to help them with the fund raising. Soon I will also work for a second association supporting deaf children. My job there will be to help them with the website and the comunnication in general. And finally, I’m starting to think about trying to make an introdcution video in english of this two assocations cause their english materials are not so developped. But this is a brand new idea so, let see how it goes.

Daily life is also exciting ! No need to have a guide with you to have fun in Beijing. You just need to walk around and, for sure, you’ll find typical places such as hutongs, or markets where you can spend hours bargaining.

A perfect exemple of this kind of fun you can find anywhere is when, two or three weeks ago, Justine and I were walking around Beihai lake and saw old people swimming in the lake even if it was -5C°. When I think people stare at us when we ride our scooters and are not surprise to see people swimming in a lake in november ?!?

But that’s also why this country is so f***ing great ! You can do crazy things while nobody cares about you and act like normal for you and still have people looking at you as if you were insane. Living in Beijing shake your mind in so many ways that you have no other choice that open your eyes and enjoy !
