Week end in Tianjin
Hi everybody !
Last time I (Capucine) promised you some news from Tianjin, so here it comes !
We’ve been there to visit Reneld who has been a french EVS volunteer in China few months ago. Now he’s back here and tries to find a job in Tianjin.
After some troubles with the train (don’t ever ever ever take a train to the south station of Tianjin, it leads to the middle of nowhere), we finally arrived in the city. With huge buildings everywhere, as you can see on the picture taken from Reneld’s place, it looks like a chinese Gotham city.
The advantage here, compared to Beijing, is you can feel that the streets and places where you go are less crowded and so more relaxing. You dont’ feel that stressed in Tianjin, even if it’s in a city of nine million people.
We spent really good times there, walking in the streets, meeting people in bars, playing foosball (Justine is too good at it, I will have to practice a little bit more) or eating japanese food in a tepanyaki with Reneld and his friends.
We didn’t see the sea but we are already invited to go back to Tianjin, so maybe next time.
Enjoy the pictures !
See you,
Justine and Capucine
