The famous lines of Nasca !

As everyone know, Nasca is known and visited principally because of those weird lines that ancient Nascas have drawn on the desert. Most of those lines are in forms of animals but some of them represent geometrical figures.

So far, the explanations of these drawings and the reason why they have been made stays the biggest archeological mystery in the world. One german woman Maria Reich spent her life trying to find out the explanation and except for some suppositions we still do not know for sure the signification of all these drawings.

While waiting to discover the answer, many tourists come from all over the world to fly over this wonderful work to appreciate the incredible ability of the Nascas to draw all of those lines without any possibility of seeing them from the sky.

So, intrigued by all this and excited to try to go on a little plane, I was waiting for a chance to go see this work!

At the center, we also have an hotel for ecotourists. At the end of April, 3 tourists from Paris were here and we decided to make this experience together.

A car came to pick us up at the association and bring us to the litlle airport of Nasca Lines. There, we had the "pleasure" of being weight in front of everybody. Then, we waited for an hour or so before our flight.

Our plane was very little and because of the bad reputation of this flight, we asked the pilot before to jump in : "¿no vamos a morir?" ("we won't die right?").Reassured by the answer, we started the trip.

But really I can't really tell you what I did think of the lines or of the view... Because, on a thirty minutes flight, I was sick around the 5th one !

Indeed, in order to see the lines, the plane inclines at right then inclines at left an then at right then left.... and really my body couldn't handle it well !

Anyhow, this stays a wonderful experience and I was happy to have made it !
